Guo, Chuanyi

Chuanyi Guo is a second-year Ph.D. student in Public Health and Infectious Diseases at City University of Hong Kong and will be based at ETH Zurich until June 2026. His doctoral research focuses on integrating computer vision with IoT sensor technologies to study animal behavior and welfare. By leveraging both image and sequential data, he employs deep learning approaches to develop innovative tools for automated behavior recognition and welfare assessment in livestock systems. During his time at ETH Zurich, he will further explore multi-object tracking under farm conditions and conduct multimodal analyses of dairy cow physiological states at the individual level.
